Historical presses

The Atelier du Livre d'Art et de l'Estampe keeps around a hundred typographic, lithographic and intaglio printing presses, including among others, the Gutenberg press (replica), the first one-stroke press of Anisson-Duperron (1783), listed as a historical monument, on which two million assignats were printed under the Revolution, an 18th century intaglio press on which were printed the engravings of Meryon, Corot, Millet, Whistler ..., several typographic presses 19th century and 20th century (platen or cylinder), several foundry-composers such as Typograph, Monotype or Linotype, to which is added on to an important foundry equipment.
